Spacious lots and special incentives at Sea Crest
Offering some of the largest homesites in the area, with sweeping views and stunning natural surrounds, the residential estate of Sea Crest is drawing homebuyers from all over the region toward the coast.
Developed by national property group, Peet Limited, Sea Crest will eventually be home to 240 households and offer spacious, natural living within easy reach of local facilities in Shellharbour, extensive regional services and direct access to Sydney.
The estate offers homesites averaging 700sqm to 800sqm, as well as some of the most elevated land in Flinders, with many lots providing views of the surrounding hinterland and coast.
As a special incentive to buyers, Peet Limited is currently offering a $15,000 saving on a limited number of homesites until 18 May 2009.
That brings the price of a quality lot at the estate down to $161,000 for a 671sqm homesite, $168,000 for 683sqms or $176,000 for a 730sqm lot.
Peet Limited Managing Director Brendan Gore said current housing market conditions provided the ideal opportunity to invest in coastal areas and maximise rewards from the low interest rates, good selection of homesites and special incentives on offer.
“Peet Limited is focused on ensuring there’s a good choice of homesites available at competitive prices to meet buyer need,” Mr Gore said.
“Over the past few months, we’ve seen a mix of buyers secure homesites at Sea Crest. Most have been second and third homebuyers, however we have seen a recent rise in interest from first homebuyers.”
Mark Staples is among more than two dozen people who have purchased land at Sea Crest already and is currently planning to build his first home with his partner.
He has lived in the Flinders/Wollongong area all of his life, and when the opportunity arose to purchase land at Sea Crest, he grabbed it.
“It’s a great area and it’s where I plan to build my future,” Mr Staples said.
“When the land release at Sea Crest was announced, I knew buying a homesite was the right decision to make, especially since not too many more blocks are available in the area.”
Mr Staples is currently reviewing possible house designs, ready to start the next phase in the process – building the new home.
“When building yourself, I believe you will get exactly what you want, at a better price,” said Mr Staples.
“It’s all been pretty exciting. The block we’ve chosen is in a great spot, and it was well-priced. Now we have to decide on our house plans!”
To enhance Sea Crest for future residents, Peet Limited is currently undertaking streetscaping and landscaping around the estate.
“Peet is investing in the creation of parklands and outdoor areas, which will integrate with the natural environment of the area,” Mr Gore said.
“We’re also working with local builders to create a community with quality design and construction throughout the estate.”
